First, you bring your pet to our Settegast location or we can arrange pickup if that’s easier for you. We’ll discuss your preferences for cremation and any memorial options you might want.
Your pet is then individually cremated in our professional crematorium. This means your pet is cremated alone, ensuring the remains you receive are exclusively theirs. The process typically takes 2-4 hours depending on your pet’s size.
After cremation, we carefully collect and process the remains, placing them in a temporary container or upgraded urn if you’ve chosen one. Most families receive their pet’s remains within 24-48 hours, though we never rush the process.
We’ll call when everything is ready. You can pick up at our facility or we can deliver if that works better for your family.

We offer several urn options if you prefer something more permanent than our standard container. Clay paw prints and fur clippings are available as keepsakes, though we always ask permission first.
Our Settegast location makes it convenient for families throughout northeast Houston. Parking is easy, and our facility is designed to be comfortable during what we know is a difficult visit. We also offer pickup and delivery services for families who prefer not to travel during their grief.
