Pet Cremation Process

Simple Steps During Difficult Times

First, we’ll arrange pickup from your veterinarian’s office or your home, depending on your situation. No need to transport your pet yourself during an already emotional time.

Your pet is then individually cremated in our facility – meaning they’re the only animal in the cremation chamber. We provide a cremation certificate with your pet’s name and the date of service for your records.

Within 3-5 business days, we’ll contact you when your pet’s ashes are ready for pickup or delivery. We return them in a basic urn, or you can choose from our selection of memorial urns and keepsakes. You’ll also receive a clay paw print impression as a keepsake at no additional charge.

Individual Cremation Services

What's Included in Our Service

Every pet cremation includes individual cremation, pickup service within 30 miles of Coady, a basic urn for the ashes, and a clay paw print impression. You’ll receive a cremation certificate with your pet’s information for your records.

We serve all types of pets – dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and other small animals. Pricing is based on your pet’s weight, and we’ll give you the exact cost upfront with no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Memorial options include upgraded urns, jewelry, and photo frames if you want something special to remember your companion. But these are optional – our basic service gives you everything you need to honor your pet’s memory with dignity.

How do I know I'm getting my own pet's ashes back?

We only perform individual cremations, which means your pet is the only animal in the cremation chamber during the process. Before cremation, we place a numbered metal tag with your pet’s information that stays with them throughout the entire process. This tag number matches your paperwork and cremation certificate. We never mix ashes from different animals, and we thoroughly clean the cremation chamber between each service. You can visit our facility to see our process firsthand if that would give you additional peace of mind.
The cremation process itself takes 2-4 hours depending on your pet’s size, but the entire service from pickup to having ashes ready typically takes 3-5 business days. We can offer expedited service if you need your pet’s ashes returned more quickly – just let us know your timeline when you call. We’ll always give you a realistic timeframe and keep you updated if anything changes. Rush service is available for an additional fee if you need same-day or next-day completion.
We provide pickup service for both situations. If your pet passes at the veterinarian’s office, we’ll coordinate directly with them to pick up your pet – this is actually the most common scenario. If your pet dies at home, we can arrange pickup from your residence. We’ll handle your pet with care and dignity regardless of the location. There’s no difference in service quality or pricing based on pickup location, as long as you’re within our 30-mile service radius of Coady.
Our pricing is based on your pet’s weight and starts at $150 for pets under 30 pounds. Medium pets (30-70 pounds) are $200, and large pets (70+ pounds) are $250. This includes pickup, individual cremation, basic urn, paw print impression, and cremation certificate. We don’t charge extra fees for pickup within 30 miles or for basic memorial items. Payment can be made when you schedule service or when you pick up the ashes – whatever works better for your situation during this difficult time.
Yes, we offer witness cremation services for families who want to be present when their pet is placed in the cremation chamber. This provides additional peace of mind that your pet is being handled individually and with respect. We’ll schedule a specific time for you to come to our facility, and you can stay for the beginning of the process. There’s an additional fee for witness cremation because it requires dedicated staff time and scheduling. Many families find this option helpful for closure, especially with pets who were particularly close family members.
We offer several memorial options including wooden urns, ceramic urns with photo spaces, jewelry that holds a small amount of ashes, and memorial stones for your yard. We also provide additional paw print impressions in different materials and sizes if you want extras for family members. Photo frames that incorporate a small amount of ashes are popular with many families. All memorial items are optional – our basic service includes everything you need. We’ll show you available options when you pick up your pet’s ashes, but there’s no pressure to purchase additional items.
