A veterinarian comes to your Kingwood home, at your pace, seven days a week. Our facility in Spring is there if you would rather come to us.

Ask families what they wish had gone differently and it is almost never the decision itself. It is the journey. A frightened animal in a carrier, a waiting room with other dogs barking, a steel table in a room that smells wrong to them.
Staying home removes all of that. Your pet keeps their own smells, their own noises, their own people around them, and nobody has to hold a shaking cat still in a stranger’s hands.
It changes things for the family too. You can take as long as you need, children and other pets can be in the room, and when it is over you are already home rather than walking back to an empty car.
Two full-time veterinarians work at Angel Oaks. They are part of this practice rather than booked from an agency for the afternoon, which is why one call covers both the appointment and everything that follows it.
We are an independent, family run business on Interstate 45 in Spring, a short drive west of Kingwood, and we are members of the American Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. We answer the phone around the clock.
First responders, military families and rescue groups receive ten percent off. Say so when you call and it is applied, with nothing to prove.
You choose the room and you choose the pace. Most Kingwood families pick the spot their pet already sleeps in, which is usually a particular corner of a sofa or a patch of floor by a window.
The veterinarian arrives, sits down, and talks with you first. Nothing happens on a clock. When you are ready, your pet is given something to make them drowsy and comfortable, and they drift off while you are touching them and talking to them.
Afterwards there is no second set of arrangements to make. We take your pet into our own care that same visit, so you are not handing them to a stranger or driving anywhere. You stay where you are.

The visit covers the veterinarian coming to your Kingwood address, everything they need with them, and as long as your family wants. Nobody is moved along.
It also covers what happens next, which is the part families dread organising. Your pet comes into our care from your home, and the cremation is handled by us at our own facility rather than passed to a third party. You can choose private cremation and have their ashes returned, usually by the following morning, or a communal service if that suits you better.
If you would rather not have the appointment at home, you are welcome to come to us in Spring instead. Some families find that easier, and it is an equally gentle option. Either way, ask about the pet portal and you can follow your companion’s journey yourself.
