Hear from Our Customers
When your pet is no longer enjoying life, when pain outweighs joy, when every day becomes a struggle—you face one of the hardest decisions any pet owner will make. The right choice isn’t about timing or convenience. It’s about love.
At Angel Oaks, we understand this isn’t just a medical procedure. This is your family member, your companion who’s been there through everything. That’s why our experienced veterinarians approach every situation with the compassion your pet deserves and the respect your bond has earned.
You shouldn’t have to worry about logistics or wonder if you’re making the right choice. Our team guides you through every step, answering your questions honestly and helping you recognize when it’s time to let go with grace.
We’ve been serving Harris County families since 1984. We’ve helped thousands of Oak Forest residents through this difficult time, and we understand the unique needs of our community.
Our two full-time veterinarians bring decades of experience in end-of-life care. We’re members of the American Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement, and we’ve built our reputation on treating every pet like family. Many Oak Forest families choose us because their Hispanic neighbors feel comfortable with our bilingual services, and first responders appreciate our 10% discount for their service.
This isn’t just business for us. We live here too, and we’ve been through this ourselves.
First, we talk. Your veterinarian explains the process completely, answers all your questions, and makes sure you’re comfortable with every step. There’s no rush—this is your time.
Your pet receives a gentle sedative first. This helps them relax completely, eliminating any stress or anxiety. They’ll feel calm and peaceful, often falling into a comfortable sleep while you hold them or stay close.
Once your pet is fully relaxed, the veterinarian administers the final medication through an IV. This is an overdose of anesthetic that stops the heart quickly and painlessly. Your pet simply drifts deeper into sleep and passes away peacefully, usually within moments.
You can stay with your pet as long as you need. We step away to give you privacy, returning only when you’re ready to discuss aftercare arrangements.

We offer both mobile euthanasia services and in-facility appointments because every family’s needs are different. Some Oak Forest families prefer the complete comfort of home, where their pet feels most secure. Others find peace in our custom-built facility, designed specifically for these moments.
Our mobile service brings everything to you—no stressful car rides, no unfamiliar smells or sounds. Your pet stays in their favorite spot, surrounded by family. We serve Oak Forest and surrounding Harris County areas, typically scheduling appointments between 9am and 4pm.
Our facility offers private comfort rooms where you can spend quality time with your pet before and after the procedure. Many families appreciate having a dedicated space away from home, especially when children are involved or when they want to create specific memories.
Both options include the same compassionate care, professional service, and comprehensive aftercare planning. The choice is entirely yours.
